Manchester City will miss Rodri hugely this season. His influence for the Premier League champions is enormous. Do Liverpool have anybody of similar value?
Interesting to see Firmino so low down in the Reds’ numbers. Received wisdom would have been that he made us defensively better and enabled us to get the most from Mo and Mané
He's not helped by the period covered, as he had a negative impact (by this measure) in his final two seasons. The data starts in 2017, with him aiding xG difference in the first four seasons, and it's reasonable to assume he was a positive in 2016/17. Probably 2015/16 too, at least once Jürgen had taken over!
His figures are here (final column before it says Matches).

Great article. Thank you.
Really enjoying the uptick in production and I’m really happy to have subscribed.
Always loved your work on TTT, so I’m glad to be getting a concentrated dose.
Thanks on both fronts!
