Thanks Beez. A good read. It was going to happen- when Salah’s gravitational pull waned. Slot’s ideas then are given room to breathe and Ekitike looks a man who runs into the danger zones. As ever, the question remains on how you fit Isak and Ekitike together and Wirtz is part of the answer.
What's your view Beez on our right side? I asked the question eldewhere about what sort of player suits Slot's system - Semenyo or Eloise (assuming we could sign both). Interestingly my lad said Semenyo with Frimpong behind. He saw it less about the individual but more about the whole flank.
I keep meaning to look into Semenyo's numbers as I noticed recently he had delivered far more when starting on the right this season, even though he's been on the left far more.
I'd prefer Olise (assuming that's who you mean ;-) ) but it's about who's realistic, plus Hughes' relationship with Bournemouth etc.
Auto correct is doing my head in! I've written something on Semenyo, Olise and included Gakpo after starting to think about each a few days back. Happy to send it across.
